I bought this scooper not realizing how large it would be. I have kept it but find I rarely use it because it's really too cumbersome for bringing pasta from pot to bowl.

I have had my scoop colander for over a year and I use it all of the time. The handle makes it easier to use than a regular colander for most dishes. When my sisters saw it, they all wanted to take it home. I now have bought enough for my whole family! It is perfect for dishing up shrimp boils or corn on the cob. It also works well for draining pasta or steamed veggies. It hangs on the wall in our pantry for easy access all of the time. I love it!

I have a sister-in-law that bought this same scoop at a home show here in Cleveland. I wanted one but the show was over. I searched Amazon and found the same collander scoop and bought it! It works like a charm. You do not need to dump a full pot of boiling water with pasta in it. You can remove and strain enough pasta or noodle with this collander until it is comfortable to tip your large pot. Also great for fishing out stuff from liquid without spilling over. I like this collander a lot!
